The Wibaux Conservation District is dedicated to serving the local community by promoting and supporting voluntary land and water conservation. Through education, programs, and partnerships, the District works to protect natural resources while helping landowners and residents make informed, sustainable decisions for the future.

The Wibaux Conservation District administers the 310 Permit process under Montana’s Natural Streambed and Land Preservation Act. A permit is required for work in or near perennial streams to help protect water quality and stream function.

The Wibaux Conservation District offers equipment rentals to support local conservation efforts.
Available equipment includes a 1590 John Deere Drill, pipe layer, tree planter, and mesh layer.

Education Program
EEP Day (Environmental Education Program), engages local 4th–6th grade students with interactive activities that teach the importance of natural resource stewardship and environmental responsibility.
